This article is best used with the projections models here at Paydirt (Found here), but it will still be valuable even as a one off piece of content. Main Points
- The highest-owned players for tonight’s games are projected to be DeAnthony Melton, Paul Reed, Khris Middleton, Peyton Watson, and Tobias Harris. Notably, Joel Embiid is out again tonight which opens up massive usage and minutes for the remaining Sixers. Additionally, there’s still pending news with the Celtics and Tatum’s status.
- A popular roster construction tonight will likely include 1 value player complemented by 6 mid-range players and 1 star. Ownership on the high end is concentrating on Jokic and Trae Young. Based on this, Shai is a great pivot at the high end as well as Domantas Sabonis.
- Players such as Dejounte Murray, Franz Wagner, and Nic Claxton are intriguing GPP plays. Additionally, value plays such as Payton Pritchard, Neemias Queta, and Dorian Finney-Smith look like potential pivot opportunities.

NBA DFS Final Thoughts
The popular build tonight is going to be balanced with scarce value and a focus on Sixers and Boston value pending news. Hawks/Kings has the highest total on the slate by far but isn’t soaking up ownership. Therefore, game stacking or at least forcing pieces from this game makes sense in GPPs. Additionally, you can pay play some of the lower owned spend ups such as Shai Glizzy, Scottie Barnes, and Alperen Sengun. The Paydirt models are heavy on BKN//TOR as spots to target with secondary exposure to PHI/BOS. Good luck and let’s bake some bread!
