Welcome to the NBA Macro Minute! This is a short article focused on macro environments and trending players. The goal here is to identify easy spots to focus or remove from slates and make DFS a bit easier.

Macro NBA Defensive Stats
- UTA leads the slate in terms of fantasy points per minute allowed at 1.11
- HOU and TOR are the two lowest at .95 and .94 respectively
- UTA/MIA/CHI/MIN all currently at .38 FGA per minute
Macro NBA Combo Stats
- UTA/MIN looks like the premier game environment tonight
- MIA, GSW, and CHI will be battles of opposition as their opponents are all near the bottom (LAC, TOR, SAC)
- Taking some shots on the aforementioned SAC/TOR/LAC players in good matchups could be worthwhile in GPPs hoping the games speed up
Trending Players
The Warriors value guys are popping for a 2nd straight night as Butler is out for the foreseeable future with a torn ACL. Walter Clayton Jr. also stands out as a strong value, albeit with ownership.

Portfolio Analysis Exposures
When you run 1,000 lineups into the portfolio manager and do some filtering, you end up with the above results. Some notes:
- There is some strong edge on De’Anthony Melton
- Aaron Gordon is a bit overvalued
- Your core is likely going to be Podz/Clayton and one of Anthony Edwards or Julius Randle
