We will talk through the most popular players on the slate, popular roster construction, and potential pivots and leverage spots. Main Points
- The highest-owned players for tonight’s games are projected to be LaMelo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Dennis Schroder, Dejounte Murray, and Payton Pritchard. Notably, Giannis is OUT and the Celtics are without Porzingis and Derrick White. Additionally, TOR has traded Siakam to the Pacers so expect some ownership on Raptors tonight.
- A popular roster construction tonight will likely include 2 value players complemented by 4 mid-range players and 2 stars. Ownership on the high end is concentrated on LaMelo Ball, Lakers studs, and Jayson Tatum. Based on this, Luka and Donovan Mitchell look like strong options on the high end.
- Players such as Anthony Edwards, Scottie Barnes, and Tyler Herro are intriguing GPP plays. Additionally, value plays such as RJ Barrett, Goga Bitadze, and Jalen Green look like potential pivot opportunities.

NBA DFS Final Thoughts
The popular build tonight is going to be more of a stars and scrubs with the news we got. Focus is going to be on the Celtics value and Raptors midrange. Thankfully, this makes it easy to get different tonight. You don’t need to outright fade the Celtics spot, however, leverage can be gained by playing the lower owned guys such as Jrue Holiday or Al Horford. Additionally, you can play some of the lower owned spend ups such as Luka and Donovan Mitchell. The Paydirt models are heavy on BOS/TOR as spots to target with secondary exposure to LAL and MIN.
